PRIVATE YOGA CLASSES
Private lessons enable students to learn yoga at their own pace, in their preferred learning style and according to their specific needs. Private lessons also suit students who are interested in the deeper elements of yoga, including yoga philosophy, pranayama, yoga nidra and meditation.
It may seem like there's a lot to learn about yoga - we are always students in yoga - but no matter which style we practice, or how much "yoga" we learn, the essence of Yoga is unchanging - the right practice is that which allows us to return to the spirit, a source of clarity, strength and bliss experienced in special moments that become ingrained in our memory.
In ancient times yoga was passed down generation to generation, and taught on a one-to-one basis, with a teacher-student relationship that would evolve with time. An understanding of the students personality would therefore allow the teacher to offer from yoga precisely what is required, at exactly the right time and place. This wonderfully ancient and yet progressive method of teaching, in Sanskrit is called upaya and can be an incredibly rewarding experience.
